Terms and Conditions for Hare Hill Lodges Thank you for choosing to book with Hare Hill Lodges we look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.In making a booking you warrant that you are a minimum of 18 years of age and have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms and conditions set out below. PricesThe price of the accommodation includes the following:Bed linen is provided and beds are made up for your arrival. Towels and cot linen are not provided. Average usage allowance of LPG gas and Electricity included. However, due to our Green Energy Conservation Policy, we request careful and sensible energy usage and extra payment charges may be due on your departure, for above average usage of: Electricity @ p per unit above units per day (current Scottish Power rates) LPG gas @ £ per unit used above units per day All units are Non- Smoking Pets are not permitted Cancellation and InsuranceOnce you have booked your holiday, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If for whatever reason you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let at the same rate, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance. If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it, less a £40 administration fee plus any costs or charges or losses incurred by us. Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. For this reason we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.Non-availability of AccommodationWe would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by your for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund. ArrivalYour accommodation will not normally be available to you until 4.00pm on the day of arrival. Privacy is ensured by a security gated entrance and we may still be busy preparing your accommodation, and may be unable to welcome you before 4pm. If you expect to arrive later than 4pm, please advise us in advance of your estimated arrival time and also keep us well informed of any changes eg traffic delays so that you may gain access to the accommodation. DepartureThe check out time is 10am on the day of departure. Please advise us in advance if you wish to arrange an earlier departure. You are obliged to leave the accommodation property and contents in good order, intact and clean as you found it on arrival. Payments for any further services during your stay, must be cleared in advance or, as in the case of excess energy usage, paid in cash on your departure.Unreasonable BehaviourWe have the right to refuse to hand over accommodation or to terminate a holiday if the unreasonable behaviour of anyone in your party is likely to cause offence or to other guests or to members of staffDamages and BreakagesA security/keys deposit of £65 is due on arrival. Please take care with our properties, hot tubs and contents. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage done or loss sustained during your stay. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we will require immediate payment for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and if you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any subsequent claims together with full legal costs as a result of your actions. We have the right to enter any accommodation (without prior notice if this is not practical or possible) if special circumstances or emergencies arise ( for example if repairs need to be carried out).LiabilityWe do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.Data collectionAny data collected during the course of this booking may be kept on computer.PaymentPayment can be made by cheque or postal order, payable to North Yorkshire Holiday Homes Ltd. For all bookings we require a deposit of £150 to confirm the booking. You must make sure that this reaches us within 4 days of making the booking. We will send you an email or letter confirming the booking and advising you of the amount of the outstanding balance . The balance must then be paid at least 10 weeks before the start of the holiday. For holidays which are to take place within 10 weeks of making the booking, the full balance is due on booking.We look forward to welcoming you to Hare Hill Lodges. |
