The Yorkshire Dales, the Vale of York and the ancient University and cathedral cities of York, Durham and Newcastle are less than an hours drive away.
Northallerton, North Yorkshire's capital market town, and Teesside Retail and Leisure Park are only 20 minutes drive. A little further afield is the famous Metro Centre. Many horse racing courses nearby at Redcar, Thirsk, Catterick, Ripon and York. Or drive south to the delightful spa town of Harrogate.
